I’m Brazilian and I’ve been around the world but now I live and work in Houston, TX, USA.

Years ago, after moving to Houston, I transitioned from performance/ dance to the visual arts. Having an extensive experience and knowledge about the movement, I wanted to learn how I could translate some of the concepts into this new visual language, which I had to learn and develop from scratch. I had to build up a new vocabulary in order to be able to communicate through my art.

Experimentation shapes my work, as I am basically a self-taught artist. So, I experiment, using different mediums over various surfaces, whilst studying and improving techniques and skills.
