One of my hang-ups is the tendency to look at the past as a way to diminish my present, to make me feel bad about the mistakes and wrong choices I’ve once made in my life,  blah, blah, and this always drains my energy when I’m about to start new projects or things.

But as I learn new ways to deal more generously with myself, I’ve come to a conclusion that is so obvious to so many: leave the past in the past. Look forward, look ahead. The dead are no more. What have come to pass, is no more. I’ve learnt my lessons and I don’t want to repeat the same mistakes.

I’m moving on.
